HISTORY
In the seventies Aruba was in need for a pest control. In those days, many people complained about insects and what they could do about it. In 1977, Roy Maduro heard the voice of the people. Mr. Maduro formed between 1977 and 1978 the company RAMCO. RAMCO was the first pest control established in Aruba. In 1982, Roy Maduro sold RAMCO to Roy Alderliste. Mr. Alderliste had a monopoly position until Mr. Maduro joined the pest control market again. Mr. Maduro formed Professional Pest Control (PPC) in1987. There was a fierce competition. Roy Maduro hired a consultant Mr. Bill Perkins to assist PPC. After doing a tremendous job, Bill Perkins was offered to purchase PPC from Roy Maduro. He accepted and became the owner of PPC in 1992. PPC consisted of eight employers and five pest control trucks. PPC grew rapidly and in 1998 took the company RAMCO over and the two companies became one. In 2001, Anthony Wever joins PPC becoming not only the General Manager but also shareholder. The idea to place a new General Manager was to create a turnaround in the revenue, since then the PPC profit has grow more than 40% in Aruba. PPC Aruba is one of the biggest Pest control companies on the island that serves more than 60% of the Arubian population and 95% of hotels on the Island. The company consists of 34 employers and has 23 pest control trucks. After being the market leader in Aruba, the company decided to bring new opportunities to its employees by means of expending the company in Bonaire and Curacao. In 2002 PPC Bonaire was established, Peter Kamp was assigned as manager and partner at PPC Bonaire, the company has 2 employees and is one of the biggest pest control provider in Bonaire.
